Jolanda Lindenberg

Senior Researcher, Management Team at Leyden Academy on Vitality and Ageing

Jolanda Lindenberg is a Senior Researcher on the management team at Leyden Academy on Vitality and Ageing since March 2010, leading a research group focused on creating an inclusive society for older adults. Concurrently, Jolanda serves as a Guest Researcher at Leiden University Medical Center, specializing in Public Health and Eerstelijnsgeneeskunde since March 2013. Previously, Jolanda was a PhD Candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology and Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg from September 2006 to March 2010, where a dissertation based on fieldwork in Belgium was completed. Earlier experience includes a role as a Project Assistant at NISPA, conducting research on patient satisfaction in methadone maintenance treatment. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Social Anthropology from the Max Planck Institute (2010) and a Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Radboud University (2005), following an Atheneum degree from CSW (2001).
