Mechanical Engineer at Lexington Medical

Mansour Elsharawy has a diverse work experience beginning in 2015 as a Patient Transport at NYU Lutheran Augustana Center. From 2020 to 2021, they worked as an Engineering Intern at CooperSurgical, where they designed, modeled, and prototyped assemblies for women's healthcare products, conducted capability testing protocols, and performed statistical analysis on testing results. In 2021, Mansour continued their internship at CooperSurgical, focusing on designing, modeling, and prototyping a new version of an existing product, and writing and conducting capability testing protocols. At Carnegie Mellon University, Mansour held various roles, including Community Advisor and Resident Assistant, where they facilitated and organized wellness, cultural competency, and social responsibility programming for housing communities. Most recently, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Ekso Bionics in 2022, and currently, they are a Mechanical Engineer at Lexington Medical, Inc.

Mansour Elsharawy completed their secondary education at Stuyvesant High School from 2014 to 2018. Following this, they attended Carnegie Mellon University's College of Engineering from 2018 to 2022, pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomedical Devices Engineering.
