Brahim BELBELLAA has a comprehensive background in biotechnology and research, starting as an Undergraduate Student at the Laboratory of Particle Vector Engineering. Brahim further pursued their education as a Graduate Student in the Department of Development and stem cells. Throughout their career, they held roles such as PHD Student and Postdoctoral Research Fellow, focusing on AAV-mediated gene therapy for various diseases. Brahim progressed to roles such as Principal Scientist and Associate Director at Adverum Biotechnologies before assuming the position of Research Director at LEXEO Therapeutics in 2022.
Brahim BELBELLAA completed a Bachelor's degree in Cellular Biology and Physiology from the University of Angers, France in 2003. Brahim then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Cellular Biology and Physiology from the same university in 2005, followed by a Master's degree in Integrative Cellular Neurosciences from the University of Strasbourg, France in 2006. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Nantes, France in 2011.
