Gene Albert is the CEO of Lexbe, a position they have held since previous company Spectra Laboratories, Inc. was sold to Fresenius AG in 1997. Gene has been with Lexbe since 1992, when they started as the Senior VP. Gene is responsible for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service Departments, as well as the compliance system. Gene also helped develop "LIA", a computer-based patient management system eventually installed at 500 dialysis center client sites.

In addition to their work with Lexbe, Gene has also served on the Planning Committee for the Electronic Discovery Institute (CLE) and as an Advisory Director for Texchange. Gene was also the President of Tassajara, LLC from 2002 to 2005.

Gene Albert completed an MBA in Business at the University of Texas at Austin, a JD in Law at Southern Methodist University, and a BA in Gene'story at the University of Texas at Austin.
