Kim Murphy is an experienced actuarial professional currently serving as an Actuarial Associate at Lewis & Ellis since April 2019. Previously, Kim held various roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas from August 2015 to March 2019, including Senior Actuarial Analyst and Actuarial Associate. Earlier experience includes work as an Associate Intern at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas and multiple internships at Lewis & Ellis, where assistance was provided with Medicare Advantage bid reviews. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Texas at Dallas, earned between 2011 and 2015, and also studied at Creighton University from 1981 to 1984. Prior to an actuarial career, Kim worked as a bookseller at Barnes & Noble and served as a Census Crew Leader for the US Census Bureau.
