Gabrielle Cutfield has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Founder and Director at Emerging Engines, a company they founded to support growing business leaders with their people management and culture alignment. Gabrielle then moved on to work as the Head of People & Culture at Levno and Head of People Experience at VeVe, both positions they held through their involvement with Emerging Engines.

Prior to their work at Emerging Engines, Gabrielle held the role of VP Chief of Staff at Audience Republic from August 2022 to May 2023. Before that, they served as the Chief People & Operations Officer at Re-Leased from April 2022 to August 2022 and as the Global Head of People & Operations from September 2019 to April 2022.

Gabrielle also gained experience in human resources and recruitment roles, working as the Global People & Culture Director - Global Markets and People & Culture Manager at Les Mills International from August 2019 to December 2019 and August 2017 to August 2019, respectively. Gabrielle worked as a Recruitment Manager and Consultant at Fletcher Building from December 2015 to August 2017 and April 2015 to December 2015, respectively.

Earlier in their career, Gabrielle worked as a Consultant at Michael Page New Zealand from January 2013 to March 2015. Gabrielle also worked as a Cook/ Stewardess on various yachts in France from May 2010 to November 2011 and as a Solicitor at various legal firms from March 2006 to May 2010.

Gabrielle Cutfield attended the University of Otago from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a LLB and BCom in Management. Prior to that, they attended Tauranga Girls College, but no specific degree or field of study is provided.
