Aris Legorreta has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and technical support industries since 2003. Aris began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Colorado School of Mines Physics Department in 2003, where they designed, tested, and constructed experimental vacuum chambers for research in low energy nuclear physics. In 2004, they worked as an Associate Scientist II at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, primarily responsible for instrument design, test, construction, modification, and deployment of scientific instruments for research in atmospheric science. From 2006 to 2012, they worked as an R&D Engineer at Sporian Microsystems, providing engineering support to all ongoing projects in the form of mechanical design, testing, experimentation, and development of MEMS, biological, chemical, physical sensors, and sensor packaging primarily for harsh environment applications. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Svendborg Brakes A/S, providing technical support on highly customized hydraulic and PLC controlled braking systems for large-scale industrial applications used in the oil, gas, and mining industries. Finally, from 2014 to 2017, they worked as an Applications Engineer at Toyo Pumps North America Corporation, where they engineered competitive technical solutions and compiled complex quotations based on the accurate selection of centrifugal slurry pumps for the mining, oil & gas, power generation, municipal, and food and beverage industries. Since 2017, they have been employed as a Technical Account Manager at Levitronix, responsible for supporting and growing key OEM accounts, end users, and integrators in the Semiconductor and Life Science markets, as well as providing technical support and system integration of Levitronix products.
Aris Legorreta attended Northglenn High School before going on to earn a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering Physics from Colorado School of Mines in 2003.
