Shaila Ortega is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Co-Founder and COO at Wave since May 2023, Shaila previously held the position of Vice President of Marketing at Logixboard and DaySmart, demonstrating expertise in strategic marketing initiatives. Prior to that, Shaila was Head of Marketing at Ad Astra and contributed significantly to CardConnect in multiple roles including Director of Marketing, Integrated Solutions, and Senior Marketing Manager. Shaila's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communications with a focus on Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, complemented by studies at Johnson County Community College.
