Clare Herceg has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2009 when they interned at Endeavor. Clare then worked as a Fellow at Tomorrow's Youth Organization in 2011, followed by Projects Officer/Researcher and Projects Assistant at Riyada Consulting and Training in 2012. In 2013, they held two positions at SureHands Lift and Care Systems: Quality Assurance and Business Processes Manager and Accounts Receivable Administrator. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Director of Strategic Initiatives at First Place for Youth, where they led the organization's national expansion through a franchise model with state government and nonprofit partners. In 2018, they became an MBA Candidate at the MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2019, they were an MBA Product Management Intern at Toast, Inc. and also founded Let's Get Set, a company dedicated to helping families become financially secure.

Clare Herceg obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University in 2011, majoring in the School of Public and International Affairs. In 2008, they attended Middlebury College's Arabic Language Summer School. In 2010, they studied abroad at The American University in Cairo. In 2017, they completed a course in Financial Accounting at UC Berkeley Extension. Clare then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2020.
