David Maze is a seasoned academic and public safety professional with extensive experience spanning nearly three decades in law enforcement and over a decade in higher education. Currently serving as a Faculty and Research Member at Lethbridge College since 2013, David Maze emphasizes student-centered learning and interdisciplinary collaboration, and also contributes as a member of the Research Ethics Board, ensuring adherence to ethical standards in research involving human participants. Prior to this role, David Maze held the position of Director at the Criminal Intelligence Service Alberta, leading efforts against organized crime, and retired as a Staff Sergeant from the Lethbridge Police Service after 27 years of dedicated service. David Maze's educational background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Royal Roads University, along with credentials in Project Management and Criminal Justice/Police Science.
