Judy Giera

Collections Manager at Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art

Judy Giera is a seasoned professional in the arts sector, currently serving as the Collections Manager at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art since March 2022. Previously, Judy held the position of Program Manager at the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts from January 2018 to April 2022, where responsibilities included serving as a Curatorial Fellow for the EFA Project Space and curating the exhibition 'As Far As The Heart Can See'. Additional experience includes roles as an Exhibitions Intern at Lehman College Art Gallery, a Teaching Artist at Miskai Studios, and a Curatorial Intern at White Columns, where focus was placed on curating and managing artist applications. Earlier positions include working as an Information and Referral Specialist at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center and interning at Franklin Furnace Archive, Inc. Judy's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts from Lehman College and another MFA in Acting from Pace University, along with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Kent State University.
