J. Soto currently serves as the Director of Engagement and Inclusion at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art, a position held since November 2021. Prior to this role, J. Soto worked at Eyebeam as a Manager from November 2016 to October 2021 and coordinated the Artists of Color Council at Movement Research Inc from September 2017 to August 2019. J. Soto also contributed as the Special Projects Coordinator at Dance/NYC from August 2016 to September 2017. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, obtained between September 2009 and June 2011, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Photography from San Francisco State University.
