Samuel Ng, PE, is a Senior Associate at LERA Consulting Structural Engineers, with a tenure since April 2011. Responsibilities include coordinating international staff to design complex buildings adhering to diverse global codes, focusing on performance-based seismic design for structures in high seismic regions, and ensuring blast and progressive collapse protection in steel and concrete designs. Project experience features notable projects such as the OPPO Headquarters and 2 Murray Road in China, as well as the SM Cebu Seaside Arena in the Philippines. Prior roles include Associate and Library Resource Manager, and a Senior Design Engineer at Southern A & E, LLC, where Samuel designed and documented structural systems for various educational and commercial facilities. Samuel Ng holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
