Marc Lalonde is an accomplished arts administrator with extensive experience in leadership roles within prominent cultural institutions. Currently serving as the Directeur général of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal since October 2018, Marc previously held the same title at the Conservatoire de musique et d'art dramatique du Québec from October 2015 to September 2018, overseeing a network of nine higher education establishments. Marc's career includes significant positions at the École nationale de cirque and Orchestre de chambre I Musici de Montréal, where Marc demonstrated expertise in both management and development. Marc's early career as a dancer includes roles with Howard Richard Danse, Calgary City Ballet, and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal. Marc holds an MBA from HEC Montréal, a Baccalauréat es arts from Université de Montréal, and a diploma in Sciences humaines from Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf.
