Joys Florez has a diverse work experience in the field of development and technology. They started their career as a Director de Proyecto at Tauret computadores in 2015, where they managed key product changes, implemented Scrum, and organized the development team. They also implemented a STG server for faster feedback. In 2018, they joined HeroSuite as an App Developer, working on more than 10 apps, optimizing development processes, and ensuring timely delivery to customers. They then served as the Chief Technology Officer at Profy from 2019 to 2022, where they were responsible for developing the main business idea and implementing agile Scrum methodology. They achieved recognition for their startup in the StartUp Chile accelerator program. Following this, they worked as a Full-stack Developer at Ursa Group from 2022 to 2022 and currently serve as a Full-stack Developer at Lapzo starting in 2023.

Joys Florez attended Universidad Autónoma de Colombia from 2006 to 2010, where they studied Industrial and Product Design. They did not obtain a degree during this time. In addition to their university education, Joys Florez completed two certifications. In June 2022, they obtained a Professional Course in Next.js from Platzi, and they also completed a Practical Course in React.js from the same institution in the same month and year.
