Robin van Wijk is a skilled researcher and advocate with significant experience in health sciences and disability management. Currently serving as a PhD candidate at Erasmus MC since September 2021, Robin also works as a Research & Advocacy Officer at Leprastichting (NLR) since November 2018, where responsibilities include coordinating an implementation research project in Sub-Saharan Africa and advising on multi-neglected tropical disease programs. Past roles include managing medical applications at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek and conducting research internships focused on inclusion and mental health across various organizations. Robin holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Management, Policy Analysis, and Entrepreneurship in Health and Life Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Hogeschool Leiden.
