Mike Kearney is a seasoned cyber security professional with extensive experience in leadership and operational planning within the UK Ministry of Defence and various sectors. Currently serving as the Cyber Security Operations Manager at Leonardo since June 2022, Mike leads incident response and threat hunting efforts. Previously, as Cyber Operations Manager at the UK Ministry of Defence from June 2020 to June 2022, Mike was instrumental in managing cyber security operations. Notably, Mike supported the COVID-19 crisis response at NHS Wales in April 2020 and held several key roles within the Ministry of Defence, including Head of Cyber Security and Command and Staff College Student. Mike's educational background includes a Master of Science in Cyber Security from the University of the West of England and military training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Audio and Recording Technology from De Montfort University.
