Shawn Mize is a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer at Leonardo DRS, with over a decade of experience leading the design and development of advanced government-funded weapon sights from initial concept through production. In addition to this role, Shawn operates Mize Inc. as a Vehicle Dynamic Technician, focusing on the research, fabrication, and maintenance of automotive systems. Prior experience includes internships at Triumph Aerostructures - Vought Aircraft Division and Halliburton, where Shawn gained skills in procurement and mechanical design using SolidWorks. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
