Oscar Salazar is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and optical engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Systems Engineer for Electro-Optical Infrared Systems at Leonardo DRS and as a Senior Principal Optical Engineer at BAE Systems, Oscar has a strong background in sensor integration, algorithm development, and signal analysis for 3D image enhancement in degraded vision conditions. Previous roles include Principal R&D Engineer at NeptecUSA and Senior Systems Engineer at Raytheon Missile Systems, where Oscar contributed to the development of electro-optical thermal imagers and their integration with various systems. Oscar holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Loyola Marymount University and a Master of Science in Physics from San Diego State University.
