Mark Maynard has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2006 as a Professional Musician for Matthew Dear (live). In the same year, they worked as the Senior Studio Manager for Arts Corporation. In 2010, they were a Product Design Technician for The New School. In 2011, they began working for Leon Speakers as a Product Design and Development. In 2015, they were the Founder & Executive Director of Wesley & Kemp, as well as the Managing Partner & Cofounder of Coyote Hawk. In 2018, they worked as a Hospitality Management Consultant for Gold Cash Gold (Modern American Restaurant). Most recently, in 2021, they began working as an Engineering Project Manager for Leon Speakers.

Mark Maynard received their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Sculpture & Painting / Sociology from Eastern Michigan University between 1996 and 2002. In 2008, they received a Professional Certification in Graphic Design from Hunter College. In 2020, they received a Professional Certification in Mortgage Loan Origination from NMLS #2042042.
