Beatriz López-Sánchez has had a varied career in the field of research and development. Beatriz began their career in 2006 as a PhD Researcher at Universidad de Zaragoza. In 2011, they took a Post-doctoral position at Universität Regensburg. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Roche Diagnostics. Beatriz then moved to Hexal AG - A Novartis Company, where they worked as an Associate Scientist (R&D) from 2015 to 2018. Most recently, they have been working as a Project Manager at Leon-Nanodrugs since 2018.

Beatriz López-Sánchez obtained their Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute in March 2019. Beatriz also holds a Selectividad (school leaving certificate) from the Instituto Pilar Lorengar. Beatriz obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universidad de Zaragoza between 2000 and 2006. Beatriz then completed their Master in Organic Chemistry from Universidad de Zaragoza between 2005 and 2006. Finally, they obtained their PhD in Organic Chemistry from Universidad de Zaragoza between 2006 and 2010. During 2004 and 2005, Beatriz participated in an Erasmus program at the University of Múnster, studying Inorganic Chemistry.
