Zaid Khan has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Zaid began their career as a Project Officer at the Canada Revenue Agency in 2010 and worked there until 2013. Zaid then joined Leo Burnett Toronto and held positions as an Account Manager from 2013 to 2016, and as a Strategic Planner from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, Zaid took on the role of Researcher & Strategist at the Systems Changes Learning Circle, where they contributed to a long-term project aimed at exploring the nature of change. In 2020, they joined the Institute of Islamic Studies at the University of Toronto as a Strategist, where they focused on transforming and repositioning the institute. Currently, Zaid serves as a Strategy Director at Leo Burnett Toronto, starting in 2022. Through their various roles, Zaid has gained experience in strategic planning, project management, communication design, stakeholder engagement, and organization design.
Zaid Khan completed a Master's of Design degree in Strategic Foresight and Innovation from OCAD University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's of Commerce degree in Marketing from the University of Ottawa in 2009. Zaid also holds a certification as a Communications and Advertising Accredited Professional (CAAP) from the Institute of Communication Agencies, obtained in 2015.
