Pia Ulv Helleland has extensive experience in public administration, currently serving as Direktør for Social & Sundhed, Arbejdsmarked & Integration at Lemvig Kommune since August 2016. Prior to this role, Pia held several positions at Nyborg Kommune from October 2007 to July 2016, including Ældrechef and Jobcenterchef. Between May 2003 and October 2007, Pia worked at Vejle Kommune as Leder af Projekt- og udvikling, Jobcentret, and Leder af arbejdsmarkedsafdelingen. Educationally, Pia Ulv Helleland holds a Master's degree in Public Governance from Aalborg University and a Cand.Scient. Adm. degree from the same institution, complemented by an education at Aarhus statsgymnasium from 1986 to 1989.
