Ove Weller Nielsen serves as Chef for Økonomi og HR at Lemvig Kommune since January 2007, overseeing a team of 25 employees in partnership with four coordinators. Previously, Ove held the position of Økonomichef, managing the central economic department and leading a team of 15 consultants and one procurement coordinator, focusing on budget allocation and economic management models. Ove's experience also includes the role of Budgetchef, responsible for eight economic consultants and the development of a new economic management strategy post-merger in 2007. Prior experience encompasses positions as Økonomichef at Thyborøn-Harboøre Kommune and various roles at Ringkjøbing Amt, including Budgetchef and Vicekontorchef. Ove holds a cand.scient.pol. degree from Aarhus University and has completed multiple leadership development modules at Aarhus Universitet-HIH and VIA University College, alongside a coaching certification from Mannaz in 2019.
