Alexandre Lemaire has a varied work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Alexandre started their career at Carleton University in 2000 as a NSERC Researcher, where they participated in a project focused on developing an Eclipse-based interpreter for the Scheme language.

Following their time at Carleton University, Alexandre founded SAEVEN in 1996 and served as the Founder and CEO. Alexandre was responsible for creating a suite of software for web hosting and online retail, including a software license management system. During their tenure, they successfully sold over 45,000 use licenses.

In 2008, Alexandre joined Launchfire Interactive Inc. as the Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they managed project and capacity planning for a large team, as well as served as the sole architect for a massive PaaS codebase. Alexandre also oversaw security audits, vendor onboarding projects, and authored security policies for the company.

Most recently, Alexandre has been working at LemonadeLXP since 2015 as the Chief Technology Officer. In this role, they have been the chief architect in software development for a large scale enterprise learning platform. Alexandre raised and managed the entire AWS infrastructure powering the platform, performed code reviews and tests, conducted regular penetration tests, and delivered SaaS with a significant acceleration in development speed.
