Borna Almasi is the Founder of Velocity Alpha, a company established in January 2024 that specializes in advanced AI and data solutions for small to medium-sized businesses. Prior to this venture, Almasi served as the Head of Platform Strategy at Cinchy, where the focus was on aligning product direction and engineering efforts on key components of a data collaboration platform. As a founding member and Data Engineer Lead at Georgian, Almasi implemented best practices in data management, enhancing analytics and operational workflows, while also achieving significant improvements in business processes. Previous roles include Senior Backend Engineer at Lottery.com and Co-Founder & CTO of Tasky, showcasing a strong background in full-stack development and growth engineering. Almasi holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
