Philip King is a seasoned construction professional with extensive experience in site and project management. Currently serving as Senior Site Manager at Leighs Construction Ltd since April 2021, Philip has previously held positions including Construction Manager at ICL Construction 2016 Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed managing a precast concrete yard and overseeing multiple commercial projects in Taranaki. Philip's notable achievements include managing the $80 million development of a retirement village with Summerset Group Holdings Limited and overseeing significant projects such as the $15 million Mitre 10 Mega development and the $36 million Pak-N-Save project. Philip began the career journey in construction engineering with Worley Parsons Ltd, contributing to HSNO Tank Bund upgrades, and possesses a foundational education in Building Construction Technology from Freyburg High School.
