Rosalien van der Poel currently holds the position of Instituutsmanager at the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts (ACPA) at Leiden University, where responsibilities include overseeing artistic research opportunities and educational programs. Additionally, Rosalien serves as Institute Manager for ACPA at Leiden University, and has held various administrative roles, including Coordinator for the Leiden Asia Year 2017 and Chief of Cabinet & Protocol managing academic ceremonies. With a Ph.D. in Art History focusing on 18th and 19th-century Chinese export paintings, Rosalien is actively involved in several organizations, including serving as a board member for the Koninklijke Vereniging van Vrienden der Aziatische Kunst and the Wavelength Festival Leiden. Educational credentials include a certificate in online leadership and finance for non-profit managers, complemented by extensive experience in communication and project coordination across various departments at Leiden University.
