Mondane Fouqueray is a doctoral candidate at the Leibniz Centre for Tropical Marine Research (ZMT) GmbH, focusing on mangrove (re-)establishment in Colombia and Malaysia, utilizing qualitative research methods. Prior experience includes roles as a PhD representative and a master's thesis student analyzing Brazilian mangrove sediment. Mondane has contributed to soil science research as a student assistant at the Technical University of Munich and gained hands-on experience in aquatic system biology through an internship. Notably involved in developing ecotourism projects in Madagascar with WWF, Mondane also held leadership roles in the UEA Climbing Club and participated in peer mentoring at the University of East Anglia.
