Mehmet Berat Taskin has extensive experience in research and development within the field of nanotechnology and materials science. As a Scientific Researcher at the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden from August 2021 to October 2023, Taskin focused on the fabrication of functional biomimetic fibrous scaffolds to address tissue and organ failure. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Universitätsklinikum Würzburg from September 2017 to April 2021, and as a PhD Fellow at Aarhus University from September 2013 to August 2016, where research emphasized the use of electrospinning techniques for developing bioactive fibrous meshes. Taskin also held positions as an Associate Specialist at the Turkish Standards Institution and as an intern at Ulker. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Nanotechnology from Aarhus University, alongside multiple degrees in Chemical Engineering from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi and a master's thesis program at the Technical University of Denmark.
