Kamal Kumar currently serves as a Guest Scientist at the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden since May 2019, focusing on fracture-mechanical characterization of polymer materials. Previous experience includes a brief stint as a Visiting Researcher at DESY and a Researcher role at The Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), where Kamal worked on triboelectric devices and plasmonic nanogenerators. Academic involvement at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur includes participation in GIAN courses and an internship related to sustainability and life cycle assessment. Additionally, Kamal was a Research Innovation Fellow at INST and has contributed to workshops on intellectual property rights at the University of Rajasthan. Kamal holds a Master of Technology in Nanotechnology from the University of Rajasthan.
