Joar Brynnel is an experienced project manager currently serving as the Head of Project Management at the Leibniz-Institut für Astrophysik Potsdam, where responsibility includes overseeing the 4MOST project with a team of approximately 750 members. Prior to this role, Joar held positions as Deputy Director and Commissioning Manager at The University of Arizona and worked as an Electronics Engineer at the European Southern Observatory. Joar holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, earned between 1984 and 1988.
