Sheila Alvarado currently serves as a Lehigh County Commissioner since January 2024 and holds the position of Legislative Assistant at the PA House of Representatives since September 2020. Additionally, Sheila is a Board Member of the Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority, contributing since March 2020. Previously, Sheila promoted Census participation as a Census Ambassador with Faces International from February to August 2020. From April 2016 to May 2020, Sheila was the Neighborhood Manager for the Community Action Development Corporation of Allentown, overseeing revitalization efforts in the Jordan Heights Neighborhood. Earlier experience includes roles at the Lehigh County Courthouse as Office Support 1 and as a Bilingual Account Representative at Telerx Marketing Inc. Sheila holds a Bachelor's degree in Office Systems Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, obtained in 2008.
