Kristin Applegate is an experienced educator and registered nurse with a comprehensive background in health professions. Since September 2006, Kristin has served as an Adult/Secondary Instructor at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, focusing on emerging health professionals and home health aide training. Kristin's prior roles include adjunct instructor at Penn State University and nursing positions at various healthcare facilities, such as Genesis HealthCare and the Indian Creek Foundation, where responsibilities included case management, medication administration, and staff training. Kristin holds a Master’s degree in Career and Technology Education from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Drexel University. Additionally, Kristin's nursing expertise encompasses cardiac care, stress testing, and the development of educational materials and protocols throughout a diverse nursing career.
