James Avery Itterly is a seasoned professional in heavy equipment operation and power plant management with extensive experience since 1987. Currently serving as a Heavy Equipment Instructor at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute since August 2020, James has previously held positions such as Backhoe Operator and Lead Caretaker at the Diocese of Allentown, and Power Plant Operator at Northampton Generating Company, L.P. from 1995 to 2020, where responsibilities included equipment inspections, chemical handling, and employee training. Earlier in their career, James worked as a Control Room Operator, Welder, and Heavy Equipment Operator at H.R.I. Inc. James holds an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and Welding Technology from Northampton Community College.
