Aaron Nielsen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Aaron currently serves as the Sr. Director of IT Operations & Integration at Legence, where they lead a team of IT professionals in delivering IT services across the company. Earlier in their career, Aaron held various roles at Blackhawk Network, including Director, Employee Technology and Sr. Manager - IT Shared Services & ServiceNow. At Blackhawk Network, they were responsible for managing end user services, support, and technology operations, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ServiceDesk and leading change management initiatives. Prior to that, Aaron worked at MegaPath Inc. as the Director of Technical Services and Manager of Technical Services, where they were responsible for managing customer support centers and improving service quality and operational efficiency. Aaron also served as a Technical Support Team Lead and Technical Support Engineer at MegaPath Inc., gaining experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Aaron has a strong track record of driving change, improving customer satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams in the IT field.

Aaron Nielsen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Technical University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2001. Aaron also completed the ITIL® Foundation V3 Certification in 2012 and received Network+ certification in Computer Networking from the Computing Technology Industry Association in 2001. Additionally, they earned a Service Lifecycle: Service Strategy Certificate in 2015 and a Service Lifecycle: Service Transition Certificate in 2018, both related to ITIL® Service Lifecycle. Before attending DeVry Technical University, they pursued general education at Diablo Valley College from 1996 to 1998.
