Shira Galinsky has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Shira began their career at Sanctuary for Families as a Program Associate, focusing on the Immigration Intervention Project. Shira then worked at Midtown Community Court as a Research Associate for a year. Shira then joined South Brooklyn Legal Services as a Senior Staff Attorney, where they worked for ten years. Currently, they are working at Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, initially as the Intake Director and is now serving as the Director of Compliance.
Shira Galinsky attended Columbia University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Shira then pursued further education at the City University of New York School of Law from 2002 to 2005, earning a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
