Tricia Simpson-Curtin started their career at Legal Services of New Jersey in 2000 as a Social Worker. In this role, they assisted low-income clients with disabilities in submitting Social Security Disability claims. Tricia also provided case management and referrals for treatment and social services.
In 2006, Tricia transitioned to the role of Writer/Editor at Legal Services of New Jersey. Here, they were responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading content for various publications and newsletters. Tricia also conducted interviews with clients and supervised the production of videos highlighting client success stories.
Later, in 2015, Tricia was promoted to Chief Content Officer at Legal Services of New Jersey. In this position, they managed content for the organization's website, videos, publications, and social media platforms.
Throughout their career, Tricia has consistently focused on providing support and advocating for low-income individuals in New Jersey.
Tricia Simpson-Curtin pursued their education at Northeastern University from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services. Later on, from 1994 to 1996, they attended Columbia University School of Social Work and accomplished a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
