Maggie LaMore has a strong background in legal services and education. Maggie began their career in 2006 as a High School Science Teacher for the Helena-West Helena School District. In 2009, they worked as a Legal Intern for the Missouri State Public Defender. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Legal Intern in Education Law for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. In 2011, they also served as a Student Attorney for the Child and Youth Advocacy Project at Washington University School of Law. Maggie then became an Attorney for the Juvenile Officer at the 20th Circuit Juvenile Office from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 to the present, they have held various roles at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, including Staff Attorney and Program Director with the Children's Legal Alliance. In these roles, they have represented low-income children and families with educational issues and special education needs.
Maggie LaMore has a robust education background. Maggie completed their Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree at the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, completing it between 2008 and 2011, focusing on the field of Law.
