Zoe Farkas is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney in the Housing Unit at Legal Services NYC, representing low-income individuals in housing court proceedings since September 2023. Zoe's previous experience includes advocacy work as a Student Advocate at the New York University School of Law Reproductive Justice Clinic and a Law Clerk focusing on police accountability at the Texas Civil Rights Project. Additional internships at the ACLU and Advocates for Justice provided valuable research experience on anti-discrimination statutes and women’s rights issues. Zoe's legal training has been complemented by roles at Safe Horizon and as a Research Assistant at New York University School of Law. Zoe holds a Juris Doctor degree in Public Interest from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature and Political Science, graduating Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University.
