Neelu Pathiyil is a dedicated legal professional specializing in LGBTQ and housing advocacy, currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Legal Services NYC since September 2019. Previous roles include Staff Attorney for the LGBTQ Legal Project at Legal Services of the Hudson Valley from November 2016 to September 2019, and various internships, including at the High Court of Ireland and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Neelu has also contributed as a Leadership Council Member for Peer Health Exchange, focusing on public health education related to STIs and HIV. Neelu holds a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Studies and International/Global Studies from The City College of New York, along with a minor in Biology and Public Policy.
