Thomas Szaniawski

Thomas Szaniawski is a legal professional with extensive experience in bankruptcy and commercial law, as well as trusts and estates law. Currently serving as a sole practitioner at the Law Office of Thomas Szaniawski since November 2018, Thomas provides counsel on bankruptcy issues and commercial transactions. Concurrently, as a Pro Bono Disaster-Relief Attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands since March 2020, Thomas assists individuals impacted by natural disasters, addressing issues related to FEMA relief, debtor-creditor law, and bankruptcy. Additional experience includes positions at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, Shapiro, DiCaro & Barak, LLC, Pryor & Mandelup, LLP, and Klestadt Winters Jureller Southard & Stevens, LLP, where Thomas represented clients in various bankruptcy proceedings and provided comprehensive legal services. Thomas holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Bankruptcy Law and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from St. John's University School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Colgate University.
