Pua Uyehara, JD, currently serves as a Paralegal in the Housing & Consumer Unit at the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii since March 2022. Prior experience includes working in the CSEA Division at the Attorney General's office from February 2019 to May 2022, and holding various roles in legal and academic organizations such as Co-Vice Chair of the TJSL Moot Court Honor Society and Vice President of the TJSL Sports Law Society from May 2015 to May 2022. Uyehara gained practical experience as a Law Clerk at The Parkman Law Firm and as a Summer Intern at the Attorney General San Diego. Uyehara's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law (2013-2016) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
