Jared Wilson is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in the publishing and education sectors. Since co-founding LeftLion Magazine in 2003, Jared has served as Editor in Chief, overseeing the production of a monthly magazine focused on Nottingham's entertainment and culture, distributing 12,000 copies to over 300 venues, and managing a website with 30-40,000 unique users monthly. Prior to this, Jared worked as a Digital Copywriter at Nottingham Trent University, contributing to various digital initiatives, and held roles at Metafocus as a journalist and webmaster, and at the National College for Leadership of Schools and Children's Services as Writer in Residence. Jared also gained experience at The Guardian and Times Higher Education as a journalist during early career stages. Educational credentials include a Prince2 Practitioner qualification and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Exeter.
