Huxley Hogeboom has a diverse and extensive work experience in the architecture and design industry. Huxley began their career as an Architectural Designer at Reich&Petch in 1999 and worked there until 2004. Following that, they joined B+H Architects as an Associate from 2004 to 2008.
In 2008, Huxley joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as the Director of Design & Construction. During their tenure, they successfully managed various hotel and resort projects in China, Japan, and the Caribbean. Notably, they played a key role in the opening of Four Seasons Hotels in Kyoto, Seoul, and Baku, Azerbaijan.
In 2017, Huxley joined Equinox as the VP of Architecture & Technical Services for Equinox Hotels. As part of the founding executive team of a new luxury lifestyle hotel company, they oversaw technical services for new hotel projects in several cities, including LA, Austin, Houston, Chicago, and Santa Clara. Huxley also played a crucial role in programming, budgeting, and planning for the development pipeline. Huxley's remarkable accomplishment includes opening Equinox Hotel NY Hudson Yards.
Currently, Huxley Hogeboom is serving as the EVP of Design & Development at LEFT LANE Development since 2021.
Huxley Hogeboom received their education at the University of Waterloo. From 1993 to 1997, they pursued a degree in Environmental Studies Pre-professional Architecture and obtained a B.E.S. (Hons.) degree. Huxley continued their studies at the same institution from 1997 to 1999, acquiring a B.Arch degree in Architecture. In addition to their educational background, Huxley has obtained several certifications. In 2007, they became a Licensed Architect through the Ontario Association of Architects. Huxley also gained membership in The Royal Architectural Institute Of Canada | L'Institut royal d'architecture du Canada during the same year. Furthermore, they achieved the status of International Associate from The American Institute of Architects (AIA) in May 2017.
