Gary Glass

Gary Glass has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Gary began their career as a Volunteer at Amigos de las Americas (AMIGOS) in 1990. Gary later worked as a Deli Clerk and then Manager at Art of Sandwich from 1995 to 1997. In 1998, Gary became a Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder.

In 2000, they joined the Brewers Association and held various roles, including Project Coordinator and American Homebrewers Association Director. During this time, Gary was responsible for organizing beer events, overseeing data collection, and managing the world's largest beer competition, the National Homebrew Competition.

Gary's most recent work experience includes positions at the Left Hand Brewing Company, where they started as a Brewer in 2020 and worked their way up to Lead Brewer and Assistant Head Brewer. Currently, they hold the role of Head Brewer at the company.

Gary Glass has a strong education background in history and American diplomacy. Gary obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Gary then pursued further education at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in History/American Diplomacy from 1997 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Gary Glass has also obtained certification as a Certified Beer Judge from the Beer Judge Certification Program in February 2007.
