Dan Allen is an experienced operations and engineering professional with a robust background in manufacturing and process improvement. Currently serving as Operations Manager for Merchandisers at Leer, Inc. since September 2011, responsibilities encompass materials management, shipping, production, engineering, and design. Prior roles at Leer include Sr. Engineering Manager and Manufacturing Engineering Manager, focusing on product design and capital projects across multiple plants. Dan also held the position of Plant Manager for Walk-Ins, specializing in Ice Merchandisers and Custom Walk-in Coolers & Freezers. Additional experience includes roles at Jefferson Electric as Director of Engineering & Quality, Penda Corporation as Manufacturing Manager, and Flambeau Inc. in various engineering and supervisory positions. Dan's educational background includes a BS in Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
