Elaine Hughes is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Finance & Resources Director at Leeds Women's Aid since August 2022, Elaine also holds the position of Non Executive Director and Vice Chair at Exceed Academies Trust since February 2018. Prior roles include Senior Finance Professional at Ramsay Health Care UK (October 2018 - July 2022), Finance Manager and Management Accountant at Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital (January 2013 - October 2018), and Non Executive Director at Bradford College Education Trust (May 2016 - September 2017). Elaine's earlier career includes significant positions in finance management with the National Institute of Health Research and Hallmark Cards. Educational achievements include a BA Econ (Hons) in Accounting from The University of Manchester and a PG Dip in Hospitality Management from Edinburgh Napier University.
