Heather Alcaraz has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Heather began their career as an intern at Fox Sports, where they learned how to edit stories and make half-time highlight clips for FSC, helped interview Galaxy star Carlos Pavon with partner Univision, and assisted in the production room as an assistant director. In 2007, they also became the Basketball Men's & Women's Team Broadcaster at Westmont College, where they held sideline interviews with athletes and coaches, did both play by play and color broadcasting, and gained both live radio and internet broadcast experience. In 2008, they became the Host of The Santa Barbara Channels, producing and hosting The Santa Barbara Weekly Newswire show, writing scripts and shooting an updated news version weekly, training in voice overs and recording ads for the station, and acting as a field reporter for the "Voices of Santa Barbara" Show. Heather also became the Assistant Manager of Partner Marketing at Universal Sports NBC that same year, promoting Universal Sports TV & on-line broadcast on a per sport basis, maintaining and negotiating relationships with partners and target sites, and supervising graphic team in creation of on-line banners and print campaigns. In 2010, they became the High School Presenter/ California Territory Manager at Slingshot, conducting High School workshop/ presentations to inspire high school Seniors and Juniors to further their education after high school and find the right college fit and major for them, leading the West Coast for all slingshot reps in workshops booked, teacher referrals, and lead cards received, and managing the most successful team (California Team), leading in all categories that were reported on. In 2011, they became the Territory Sales Representative at Cbeyond, presenting and selling Cbeyond Voice services and applications for small to mid-size businesses generating new sales revenue, exceeding every goal for monthly quota since beginning with Cbeyond as a sales rep, and leading the #1 team in the nation for the Month of January in 2012. In 2012, they became the Co-Founder/ Technical Recruiting Manager at The Avidity Project and the Talent Agent at The Calvin Group, LLC. Finally, in 2017, they became the Chief Talent Officer at Lee Line Consulting, Inc., a Specialist Recruitment Agency servicing the Enterprise Technology, Startup, and Media Services Sectors, offering Full-Service Contract Talent Solutions, (payroll, HR, benefits, etc).
Heather Alcaraz attended Huntington Beach High School and then went on to Westmont College, where they received their Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies in 2008.
