Asad Norouzi currently serves as the Algo Team Lead at LeddarTech and holds multiple academic and industry positions, including Professor at Seneca Polytechnic, Instructor at FourthBrain, and Robotics & AI Consultant at UpSkill Canada. Active in IEEE Canada, Asad plays significant roles as Chair of IEEE R7 Educational Activities and Executive Committee member for various IEEE groups. Additionally, Asad is involved with the RoboCup Federation and the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society as Co-Chair. Previously, Asad held research and engineering positions at Huawei Technologies, specializing in self-driving cars and intelligent transportation systems. Asad's academic credentials include a Master of Science from Chalmers University and several nanodegrees in self-driving car technology and deep learning.
